All the lovely catwalking ladies: some 90's supermodels, some current ingenues and a few of those in-betweens (right to left: Kristen McMenamy, Amber Valleta, Shalom Harlow, Stella Tennant, Natalia Vodianova, Nadja Auermann, Eva Herzigova) - 2009. These women do not age.

Another (Vintage) Royal Wedding

Daughter of Princess Grace, Caroline wed her first - and much older - husband Philippe Junot in 1978. The free-spirited princess sported the very current (at the time) Star Wars look at her wedding. I dig it - simple, yet interesting. She was and still is absolutely beautiful (just like her mama).
Congrats to Sarah Burton of Alexander McQueen (Oh yeah, and to Kate & William also)
Quite conservative for McQueen, don't you think? I'm just happy she went with the best designer that England has ever given to the world. Yeah, I said it.

Dior Eden Embossed Wedge Sandal
Wedges are all the rage this season, but I don't think you can say you've fully committed to this trend until you sport these crocodile and snake-embossed Dior bad boys above. BALLER!

What happened to Gwyneth Paltrow?

Not so long ago, Gwyneth Paltrow was simply put "the coolest girl in the school of Hollywood": the rare, untouchable star, indie-darling (too cool for big budget flicks), fashion risktaker (remember her McQueen moment at the Academy Awards), legendary heart breaker, a true elite in both pedigree and fame (settling in posh London, vacationing on Valentino's yacht). Jump forward a few years and Gwyneth has morphed into a B'list style self-promoter: singing her ass off at every open mic night from the CMA's to Glee (yes, great show, but beside the point) to pushing gyms with Tracy Anderson to appearing on "Who do you think you are?" with the likes of Lisa Kudrow to writing cookbooks to GOOP. She's turned into the next P Diddy (or Sherri Shepherd) in a matter of 2 years. Is this manic pattern a cry for help (ie she's searching for some kind of personal fulfillment) or has she suddenly become a shameless, attention whore or both? Either way, the Gwyneth Paltrow that I knew and loved (in the totally nonpersonal way - never met the woman) would have never resorted to the CMA's (no one, and I mean no one, should have to resort to the CMA's).
